We spend a good part of our lives trying to escape the things that make us uncomfortable. The moment things get tough in a relationship or we’re sidelined by an injury or illness, we’re wishing we are somewhere else, with someone else or feeling instantly well. What if we took the opposite approach to the discomfort and instead leaned in to what feels bad?
